RPG Forgotten (2008)  Later This Year, a Remaster Will Be Issued. This year, developer SparklingBit and publisher THQ Nordic are remastering a long-forgotten 2008 role-playing game. Notably, the former will make its debut along with the release. The Xbox 360 and PS3 period back 17 years to the PC, PS5, Xbox Series S, and Xbox Series X. Additionally, this will occur in Q4 2025, which is later this year. Specifically between the beginning of October and the end of December.

Sacred 2 is the game in question.

Ascaron and Deep Silver were the first to release Fallen Angel. This prequel and sequel to Sacred (2004) received mixed reviews. When it was first released and didn’t exactly blow the world away.  However, it received a follow-up in 2014 in the form of Sacred 3. Which disappointingly concluded the series. Let’s just say that the 2025 remaster of Sacred 2 is unexpected.

All expansion content, “smoother” and “more responsive” combat, a contemporary user interface, improved texturing, new lighting effects, and view distance will all be included in this new release. Oddly enough, multiplayer will only be supported on the PC version. Only single-player versions will be available on the console.

Ancaria is perilously close.
