DC Reveals a Closer Look at Robin’s New Costume for Batman Series

The Boy Wonder is getting ready for DC’s upcoming Batman series by donning his most elaborate outfit. For the most part, Batman and Robin are a package deal. When DC relaunches the ongoing Batman book with a fresh #1 issue in September. Robin will continue to be a part of some of Batman’s greatest stories. Robin is part of the ambitious ideas that writer Matt Fraction and illustrator Jorge Jimenez have for Batman. Now that we know that Tim Drake will be wearing a brand-new Robin outfit. We can have a closer look at it when he suits up next to Bruce Wayne.

Jorge Jimenez Reveals Bold New Robin Costume for Tim Drake

Tim Drake’s new Robin suit concept art was posted on social media by Batman artist Jorge Jimenez.  “The red is back to our Tim in this new concept art!  Jimenez posted on Instagram with the hashtag #timdrake.  Get your copy of #Batman #1 in advance at your neighborhood comic book store. I hope you enjoy it, friends. The Robin character design sheet includes the Robin emblem, eye patch, baton stick, and cape, as well as a front and rear view of Tim wearing the new outfit. Tim is back to wearing a Robin suit that’s primarily red, and it’s also matched with black for one side

of the cape, mask, wrist guards, and boots.

Robin Faces Danger in Custody as Batman #2 Highlights Tim Drake’s New Look

The Gotham City Police Department’s arrest of Robin marks the beginning of Batman #2 in October. Because he is surrounded by the same criminals that he and Batman assisted in locking up, Robin will have to battle for his life. Batman, meanwhile, scrambles to save his sidekick before he is hurt.

Additionally, on both the main and a variant cover of Batman #2, Jorge Jimenez portrays Tim Drake wearing his improved Robin suit. The costume’s resemblance to Tim’s attire from the “One Year Later” story arc has been noted by fans. Robin swinging in the same posture as Bruce Wayne on the first issue is also shown on the Batman #2 alternative cover. His yellow cape spreads wide behind him, casting Robin and his new outfit in silhouette. Tim Drake was the third Robin, after Jason Todd and Dick Grayson.  Following Jason’s death at the hands of the Joker, Batman left the Robin mantle empty.

When Batman is relaunched by Matt Fraction and Jorge Jimenez, Robin seems to be a key character. It’s important to remember that during Jimenez and Chip Zdarsky’s tenure as champions. Tim Drake was also Robin. Damian Wayne, Bruce Wayne’s son, is also posing as Robin. Together with Robin, Batman is wearing a new outfit that features a lighter shade of blue for the cowl, cape. Bat emblem on his chest. A new Batmobile will also be available.

Jorge Jiménez Reflects on His Artistic Journey with Batman and Collaborating with Matt

Jiménez remarked, “As a DC artist, I must admit that this is something I’ve always dreamed of. It’s just amazing for me to get to do it alongside someone as amazing and talented as Matt.” Regarding my artistic contributions to Batman. I have dedicated years of effort to this series.  Alongside James and Chip, I’ve had to adjust to various styles and tempos throughout time, learning and having fun at every turn.  I’ve looked at Gotham City from a variety of perspectives. But more significantly, I’ve progressively acquired a growing number of creative tools that have helped me arrive at the current synthesis of my style.
